Alissa couldn't believe her luck, she felt as if the heavens had heard her prayer and she was finally answered. She couldn't believe how much better looking he looked up close. She had never been so happy to be bumped into and spilled smoothie by someone. If it was someone else, she wouldn't be as pleased as she was right now. She restrained herself from touching him. She wanted to check if he was real, that this wasn't a hallucination.
"Are you okay?" he asked, searching her face.
"Yes." She stammered.
"Let me get you another one." As he motioned her back to the store. He held the door open for her and she went and sat by the booth. He came back after sending in the order and he handed her tissues. Alissa wiped herself.
He sat across her and he took out his phone. He started to type, and Alissa stared at him. He looked way better up close. She couldn't believe that he was right there and within reach. As if sensing her gaze, he looks up and he stares right back at her. He doesn't blink, and Alissa looks away.
She looks up again and he is still staring at her.
She takes a leap of faith, "What is your name?"
He tilts his head with amusement. "Why do you want to know my name?"
"Just for interest's sake." She replies.
Their order number is called up and he goes and fetches it. Alissa realizes that she is the envy of many because of him.
He comes back with a smoothie and food. He also has a bag for himself.
"I only had ordered a smoothie. I didn't have any food." She says. Confused as to why he had bought her food and not just the smoothie.
"I know but it looks like you need it." He replies.
Alissa blushes, she knew she didn't look her greatest. When she wants to take the package and leave. He stops her.
"Sit." He says.
Alissa sits down, and she adjusts her glasses.
"You will eat where I can see you." As his eyes have a strong intensity in them.
She opens the food and she takes a bite.
"How is it?" he asks.
"It's great," she replies.
"That's good." As he starts to eat his food.
"Do you come here often?" Alissa asks.
"Once in a while when I am craving a good old sandwich." As he motions for her to carry on eating. Which she does.
"Where do you go then? If not here?" Alissa asks.
He raises his eyebrows in amusement. "I usually go out at night. I go to clubs."
She nods, "Which clubs?""Clubs that you can't handle." His eyes held something daring. What did he mean by that? She put it in the back of her head. She wanted to ask him more but the questions where stuck in her throat. She would feel like she was now just prying in his business. She keeps on stealing glances at him.
They finish their food and they get up. They walk out the door before he gets in his car, she calls out to him.
"You didn't tell me your name."
"It's Aron." And with that, he gets into his red Mustang. He drives off and Alissa knows that she will never be able to let him go. She had never wanted someone in her life as she wanted him. He was everything she wanted in a guy, but she didn't know how she would get him
She would have to find him at this club. She had taken note of his number plates and she would have to find him now that she had his name.
It was a good thing that he didn't know her name, so when something went wrong, she could easily avoid it.
Alissa went back to her dorm so that she could devise a plan on how to see him again. She opened her laptop and she searched for Aron but found nothing. She needed to come up with a plan and she closed her laptop. She knew what she would do tomorrow, it was very risky, but she had to see him, and this was the only way she knew how.
Alissa woke up the next morning and she did her usual routine. She ate her breakfast quickly and she went to her lectures. She got back to her dorm where she took her usual nap.She woke up half an hour later and she freshened up. It was now lunchtime when she went down to the police station. She stood outside, and she felt a bit too nervous, but she psyched herself. She had to see Aron again and she couldn't wait to see him by chance. She took a deep breath in and walked into the station. She got to the front desk. "Afternoon." She said in a soft voice."Hey, how may we help you?""I would like to trace a car." She said."Why?"Alissa needed to put up one hell of a story and she needed to be convincing. She got it,"This is my last hope of finding my father." She started to sob."Don't worry sweetheart I will help you okay, give me the number plates."Alissa wiped her fake tears away. She gave the lady the number
"Alissa, what do you think?" Adrianna asked."I don't think I am up to clubbing this weekend. I have some projects to do.""What projects?" as Lexie whined at her."Fine I will see," Alissa said knowing very well that her friends wouldn't accept a no for an answer."That's great." As they both squealed. They had dinner and they had their girl talk. Alissa had to concentrate her hardest to keep the conversation going because she knew her friends would ask what was wrong if she wasn't responsive. She made it through dinner and hugged her friend's goodbye. Alissa made her way to her dorm room and changed into her pajamas. She held her planner and ticked off the first plan. She switched off the lights and woke up the next morning. She woke up the next morning and she got dressed. She ate her breakfast, then she sat and rehearsed her plan. It was sunny, and her Saturday was about to improve. She got dressed and took the paper from t
Alissa wanted to go every day to see Aron, but it was a difficult task for her because she lived far, and it used up some of her money. It had been a week since she had gone to his house and she really craved him a lot. When she arrived at his house, he wasn't there as per usual and she had to now wait for him to make his way back home. Alissa waited and waited for what seemed to be like an eternity and he finally emerged. She hid by her usual spot and saw the gates opening and his car drove in. Aron got out the car and the gate didn't close. He stood outside his car when another car came, and Alissa hid quickly. When the car was fully in, she could breathe and look out again. The door to the second car opened and Alissa's heart fell, a pretty blonde came out of the car. She looked as if she could be in a magazine cover. Alissa became alarmed when they walked to the front gate. She leaned more back, and it seemed as if they were looking at the view of the
Friday came, and Alissa had decided to take a day off so that she could get everything that she needed for tonight. She got ready and ate, then she was out the door. When she got to the mall, she went around looking at different dress shops.Alissa knew that she would be broke for the rest of the month after spending her money like this. But it was worth it. As long as she got to see Aron that's all that mattered. After going to many shops, she eventually found the dress that she liked. It was a white gown, she tried it on. She felt a bit self-conscious as she had never dressed up like this. She bought the dress and then went to the costume shop.Bingo, she found a mask to match her whole outfit. She went and bought some cosmetics to use when she had gotten everything that she needed. She headed back to her dorm.Alissa arranged the rest of her things, such as the transport and made sure she got the right place. She worried the whole day that her p
Alissa drew back, and she saw a puzzled Aron. He really looked at her, she knew that he was trying to see who she was behind the mask. His hand went out to her and she dashed for the door."Wait." She heard him say.Alissa ran without looking back, she got outside and hid. She was huffing. When she was sure that no-one was following her, she took out her phone and dialed the cab number. After fifteen minutes, which felt like an eternity, the cab finally arrived, and she hopped in. When she got to her dorm room, she felt exhausted. It was two in the morning, and she struggled to change into her pajamas and taking off her make-up.When she had done that she lay on her bed and started to reminisce over tonight's events, licked her lips as she savored the feel of when she had kissed him.She rolled over many times, was he thinking of her now? Was he surprised? Would he look for her? Not that he had a chance of finding her, she had slipped into the part
I didn't do it! That's what Alissa wanted to blurt out, but she held her tongue. She felt her hands were getting sweaty.Alissa looks up at him and he tilts his head. It looked as if he was analyzing her. He finally spoke,"You look familiar." He said.Alissa grasped for the first thing that came to her mind, "I bumped into you last time and spilled my smoothie, but you bought me another one.""And some food." She added hastily."I did, didn't I?""Yeah." Alissa nodded."No, I have a feeling I met you somewhere else," Aron said. She pretended to be confused, "Are you sure?""Yes, I am.""I get that a lot." She stammered."No, I don't ever confuse people." He said confidently.Alissa contemplated confessing the truth, but she stopped herself, if he had proof, he would have confronted her fully by now, he was just suspicious."It happens to the best of us." She replied."Does it?" his voi
Alissa watched Aron make his way to his car and get in. He then sped off and soon disappeared. She snapped out of her revenue and made her way to the dorm room. She couldn't eat properly; her appetite had vanished."They will face the consequences."That one line kept on playing in her head over and over again. He seemed to be a man with a lot of means, and that scared her. What would happen if he found out it was her? There was no way, her brain fought. She was wearing a mask unless he interrogated people, but she doubted that he would do that. She tossed and turned in her bed. Would she stop following him around since she was a bit scared or should she continue? The voices warred in her head, she got up. She needed some pain medication. Her head was throbbing, and she couldn't handle the pain anymore. She found some aspirins and took some water and washed them down. She looked at the time and it was eight in the night, she would have to call it a
Alissa was huffing and puffing when she reached her dorm room. She took off her clothes and jumped into the shower. After a hot shower, she put on her pajamas and slid into bed. She didn't want to think about tonight, but thoughts flooded in and so many questions. What happened, why did they get shot but the prominent one was, did Aron shoot all those people. He was rich at a young age, which meant he might be highly doing something legal. She took out her phone shakily and deleted all his pictures. She removed him from her screensaver.Starting from tomorrow she would just focus on her school work and go out with her friend. Aron hadn't seen her she wondered. He probably hadn't or else he would have chased after her. What exactly was he?Alissa woke up the next morning and went to class. After class, she went to her dorm room and napped. When she woke up. She checked her phone and saw that she had gotten a message from Adrianna."Hey, it's your turn to g
"What is going on?" Alissa hurled out a scream mixed with a cry.Aron turned to her, "Alissa what are you doing here?"Alissa turned and she started to run, but Aron caught up with her. "Let me go, Aron.""No, not until you talk to me.""Why must I ?""Alissa you damn well know why! Not after what you have seen.""It's over between me and you.""No Alissa it's not.""Yes, it is....""No, it's not.""You c
Now they sat as the four of them and she wondered what was going to happen next. Paula turned to her, "So these are your friends?""Yes, Lexie and Adrianna.""How did you and Paula meet?" Lexie asked.Paula jumped in, "I remember you and Brandon were on a date and Aron and I arrived and we had like a double date. Oh yeah come to think of it I wanted to ask where did you and Aron disappear off to that night?""I went home when I had a headache and Aron I don't know, I left him talking to some other girl." Alissa replied."What are you guys talking about?" Adrianna asked."When we went clubbing just as the four of us." Paula rep
"Aron?"Alissa looked up and if she be damned if this wasn't going to turn out well."Paula." Aron replied.Alissa could tell that Paula was genuinely shocked that he was there, she asked the waiter to put a seat in between him and Adrianna."I'm not moving." Adrianna replied.Paula made Brandon move over and she lodged herself in between, "Why didn't you tell me you were here?""It just happened Paula."Aron turned to everyone, "Guys this is Paula."Everyone greeted her, she scanned the table when her eyes landed on her. "Alissa
When they finished touching up their makeup, they went over the plan and how it would go."Guys it should flow naturally so that he doesn't suspect a thing." Adrianna said applying more lipstick to her face. They all finished their final check ups and Alissa saw that she was flushed, and felt a bit better now that she had drank some water and the alcohol was leaving her system bit by bit. They went back and sat by their original seats, Alissa found Brandon and Brian arguing about sports and she knew, her and Lexie's plan had to commence. They waited a couple of minutes, "Brian and Brandon, switch with Alissa and I so we can have some girl talk." Said Lexie.Brandon and Brian didn't h
The music stopped and the lights came back on and Alissa fidgeted a bit."That was wonderful." Lexie exclaimed."Yes, it was enchanting." Adrianna added."I know right." Alissa added. She had to add, but honestly she had heard nothing with what Aron and her had just done under the table. All the guys also nodded half heartedly knowing that they heard nothing at all probably were all bored by the music. The food came and the table became more alive, the waiter set out their food. He looked at her directly, "Enjoy your food."Lexie raised her eyebrow, "I see you have a number of admirers."
Alissa sat back up and she tried to be still in her chair. Lexie grinned, "Please get a room."Brandon grinned, "We plan to."Adrianna laughed, "Yes I agree with Lexie."Brian chimed in too, "I think everyone should get a room.""Now we are talking!" Adrianna added.Everyone turned to look at the stage when they saw that a singer was being presented, it went dark and the lights were shown on stage as the singer started to sing.Alissa felt Aron's hand go higher and she stole a glance at him and he wasn't looking at her.She was already wet, and she shook a bit and she saw Aron smir
Alissa stood there trying to not let herself feel anymore nervous than what she felt. She was already red thinking what she and Aron had done and how he was looking at her."You look stunning Lisa." Adrianna said to her and she could tell that she was surprised by the way she looked."I very much agree." Brandon said grinning down at her."Shall we all?" Asked motioning for all of them to head inside the restaurant,Brandon put his arm around her and she noticed that Aron didn't miss that but she gave him a hard glare not to cause any trouble. They went to the door and Lexie did all the talking, "Reservation for six.""Name please."
Adrianna looked pissed and Lexie looked as if she wanted an explanation."We need to talk," Lexie added.Alissa nodded, not wanting to cause anymore suspicion, she didn't want her friends to be more suspicious of her behaviour. She went with them to the café and they took a corner booth. Seated with their smoothies, Alissa waits for the inevitable that was about to happen."What were you doing with Aron?" Adrianna jumps in.Lexie looks at her waiting for an answer.Breathe Alissa, "We were discussing some things.""Like what?" Adrianna comes off aggressive,
