Eamon's POV

I sat in my study, my fingers absentmindedly tapping against the wooden surface as I contemplated the mess I had found myself in. The cigarette in my hand seemed to burn endlessly. Deceit and lies, like a noose, were tightening around my neck, and I needed to find a way out, fast.

The lady who claimed to be pregnant with my child was a potential disaster waiting to happen, a ticking time bomb that could shatter everything I held dear. I couldn't let Isadora find out about this. Not now, not ever. I had to deal with this scandal quickly.

As I took another drag of my cigarette, I couldn't help but recall the night of the bachelor party when I first encountered her. Jake, one of my pack warriors, had introduced us. That conniving snake had a knack for finding trouble, and it seemed he had set me up perfectly.
