Isadora's POV

I watched Eamon as he returned back to the quarters, his mood visibly changed. The vibrant energy he had when he left had faded, replaced by brooding silence. It was as if a dark cloud had settled over him, and it worried me.

"Eamon, is something wrong?" I asked, my concern evident in my voice.

He pushed his food around on his plate, his appetite seemingly vanished. "No, nothing's wrong," he replied, but his words lacked conviction.

I leaned in closer, my eyes searching his face. "You can tell me, you know. You don't have to keep things from me."

Eamon hesitated, and for a moment, I thought he might open up. But then he shook his head and forced a small smile. "It's really nothing, Isadora. Just a minor pack issue that I need to deal with."

I wasn't convinced, but I also didn't want to push him too hard. Instead, I decided to change tactics. "Well, regardless of what's bothering you, you should eat," I said gently. "You need to regain your strength, especially after that
