Zoe kept mumbling in a trance, “I didn’t, Mason. I didn’t do it with him!”

Holding the cup of herbal tea in her hand, Layla couldn’t help but to nag again, “Look what you’ve done to poor Zoe! She was passed out, but she’s still trying to prove to you that she’s loyal to you!”

Looking at the door, he ordered, “Get out of here and bring Ava to me when she’s here.”

That was when Layla caught herself and stopped talking.

About half an hour later, Ava came to the manor with the doctor. It was still raining outside. She didn’t dare ask about it on the phone earlier. Now that she finally saw Zoe with her own eyes, she was shocked to the core, but she kept quiet about it and didn’t say anything unnecessary.

On the other hand, it took the female doctor one glance to know what was going on.

She gave Zoe an injection and said with a blank expression, “You can’t have sex with her when she has a high fever! You need to be more careful with it in the future. She could very well die from it.”
