Mason kissed her as soon as she uttered it.

He had been suppressing himself all this time. Hearing Liam on the phone with Zoe riled him up too. So, he kissed her recklessly and sucked every drop of sweet nectar from her.

Their bodies were rubbing against each other and their tongues entangled.

However, they could still sense each other’s pain amidst this passionate kiss. After a long time, he let go of her lips at last. The moment he did it, Zoe slapped him fiercely. Instead of getting upset, he buried his face in her neck and panted lightly. He could still taste her lips in his mouth.

She tried to push him away, but she couldn’t because he was holding her so tightly. His heart was pounding like crazy because of what he was about to say to her. He murmured in her ear, “I love you, Zoe.”

There. He said it. He loved her. She was the only lady he had ever loved since the very beginning.

This was possibly the worst timing to be confessing, but he couldn’t hold himself back anymore.
