Lorian’s voice was calm and unyielding. “Yes, I’m heartbroken.”

Leanna could hardly believe it. She hadn't even done anything to Tegan, and yet he was this protective of the latter. It showed how much he cared. Leanna’s heart ached, but Lorian turned to Tegan and said, “You should go back first. I’ll talk to her for a bit before coming home.”
