Derek pov

I wish I could say it got better but nope it didn't. Mia is more quiet than she use to be which sucks. She doesn't argue with me on much and most times I find her staring off into space.

"Mommy, I hear Luke, Can we go outside to play?",she sighs but smiles. She still looks exhausted my wolf says staring at her.

"Sure baby, she stood up and pulled on her sweatshirt, sandbox or swings?",they go out and I watch from the window. I wish my memories came back faster but all I get is small tidbits of us together then nothing. Mia doesn't remind me of anything she just goes quiet. If I try to kiss her she pulls away and makes herself busy so I can't.

"Daddy!!!!",I hear a wail from Luke and I run outside to Mia on the ground her wrist at a weird angle.

"I'm okay, she grits her teeth in pain ,Luke go inside baby I will be back",she goes to stand but falls bumping it and whimpering in pain.
