Mia pov

I lay holding a sleeping Derek pretty shocked he had a panic attack at my absence. He cried and I felt awful for him. I only left to get us food I was starving.

"Mia", he moans in his sleep.

"I'm here Derek",I smile as he wraps his big body around me and kisses my cheek. We ate in bed and snuggled till he fell asleep. I can't sleep though I'm up still thinking about everything. We mated but I still feel a small part of our mate bond is tainted because of Jon. I feel for Jennifer because I know both men still care for each other. I know Alpha Levi ordered Derek to stay away from Jon to give us a fighting chance and that eats away at me.

"Mia, he whimpers, don't leave me",I kiss his forehead and sigh.
