JAYCEL’S POV:

Silence enveloped the four of us, so I became even more tense and nervous as I waited for the time when his parents would get over it and say what their feedback was about what Travor said.

Actually, I didn’t expect that he would be so frank about marriage; I was just expecting that he would reveal my pregnancy, but because of my nervousness, I didn’t have the time to react to that nor the time to argue.

After a few minutes, I couldn’t help it anymore, so I looked to my side, where Travor was sitting, but he wasn’t looking at me but was still looking straight at his parents. However, I notice that his face doesn’t show any nervousness or guiltiness but is so calm. He was too calm to the point that maybe he felt my gaze towards him, so he gently squeezed my hand without looking in my direction.

I looked down at our intertwined hands and somehow felt comfortable due to that gesture, so I closed my eyes and secretly heaved a sigh to calm my nerves before opening my eyes and

JAYCEL’S POV:Hearing what she asked, I couldn’t help but to heave a helpless sigh and answer, "Yes, and I am willing to tell you all about it later, but since this happened, maybe I will tell you first since the Empress and the Emperor already knew about it anyway.""What is it then?" She asked, and based on her voice, she seemed confused about it and curious at the same time.I looked at Travor gently before I answered her as calmly as possible by saying, "I am pregnant, Kiana.""What the fuck?" She immediately exclaimed as soon as I finished saying those words, and I could say that she was really shocked since she asked afterwards, "I am not hallucinating, and you really said that you are pregnant, right?"Before I could answer, I heard someone’s voice from the other line, which I assumed was owned by Ysabelle, as she asked confusingly, "Who is pregnant?"I heard Kiana’s hesitant voice as she answered, "It was Jaycel who told me that she was pregnant."I heard a gasp, which I know

KIANA’S POV:I sighed and told them about it. After a few minutes, a firework exploded in the sky in the form of the Empress organization’s symbol, which means that they already need help. All of us panicked and prepared ourselves.I immediately shouted in panic, "Let’s go to that place and help the Empress."Calvin replied with a serious voice, "Let’s go!"After that, all of us hurriedly ran towards the place as the sound of guns and dynamite rang around the place. My eyebrows furrowed as worries arose, and I felt like my heart was hanging on a thread. As soon as we arrived in front of the building, I immediately looked back and signaled some of our people to disperse to surround the area until the only people left were the three of us.I looked at the two of them beside me and told them, "I will use the front door."Calvin immediately replied, "I’ll go with you."When I didn’t hear any answer from Ysabelle, I immediately looked at her with a questioning look, but I just saw her look

KIANA’S POV:I tried my best to find out if someone was here with me, but since I couldn’t feel any presence, I held the folding laptop in my hand, which was the same size as a flat piece of stainless steel.Actually, it was kind of hard to activate this one due to the fact that it was so dark in here, but I still did my best to find the fingerprint scanner, and after I did, it immediately lit up and transformed into a small laptop automatically. As soon as it was opened, I immediately saw the surroundings, only to realize that I was inside a torture room due to the fact that I was surrounded by a lot of whips, knives, hammers, and other things that gave me chills. Why am I even here? I’m starting to regret it now.I heaved a sigh and tried to calm my tense nerves because of my situation right now. After all, I still need to find my master, knowing that the Empress and the others are doing their best to fight against those people to make time for me here."I will be fine, and nothing

KIANA’S POV:Calvin and that guy were still locked in combat, and despite my own injuries, worry gnawed at me. As I mulled it over, I remembered that Calvin was an heir to some powerful organization, and it struck me that he must have undergone intense training since his childhood. It's funny how I realized I didn't know much about him, yet here I was, placing my trust in him without hesitation. I had made up my mind; I was determined to stand by his side, come what may.In the midst of the fight, Calvin's eyes met mine as he kicked the impostor away. His expression grew serious as he commanded, "Go find him. I'll handle this."I swallowed hard, my hand clutching over my aching stomach, and I shook my head, stubbornness flaring up. "No, I can't just leave you here alone! I'm worried."The adversary lunged at him again; their clash was intense. Calvin shot back with a cold retort, his voice cutting through the chaos: "You have to trust me and stop being so damn stubborn, Kiana." He lan

ICIEST’S POV:Amidst the frenzy of the battle against the men under that deranged woman's command, the air vibrated with the echoing blast of an explosion nearby. The force of it sent bodies hurtling through the air, creating unexpected chaos that momentarily shifted the tide of the fight. In the midst of the turmoil, my thoughts wandered to my wife. Our separation, which I hadn't even consciously registered, weighed heavily on my mind.Engrossed in combat against the minions of the enemy, I hadn't been able to approach her during the ongoing altercation. Complicating matters was the presence of a formidable adversary on my end, someone I suspected was that woman's right-hand man.My current opponent remained persistent, and our fight stretched on due to my reluctance to cause him significant harm. Concern for my wife eclipsed all else; my priority now was locating her in a place foreign to both of us.An opportune moment presented itself, and I struck the man in the face, the satisfy

GRAYSON’S POV:My sister, a once-vibrant soul, stood before me amidst a grim tableau of lifeless bodies. There was no flicker of life in her aura, only a haunting void. I couldn't tear my gaze away from her hands—hands now coated in blood, her shirt a canvas painted in macabre hues, her hair a ghastly mosaic.Beside me, Iciest clenched his fists, a battle clearly raging within him. He was barely containing something—a mix of emotions I couldn't quite read.I felt compelled to break the silence and grasp at understanding. My voice, a fragile thread, slipped out in a hesitant whisper: "Was Ice... this brutal, Iciest?"His reaction was slow; his gaze was steady but heavy with a burden of grief. He met my eyes, his own reflecting a storm of conflicted emotions. With a heaviness that seemed to drag his words from him, he responded, "The real her... she wouldn't inflict this kind of harm unless something triggered her darker side."It was a confession layered with sorrow and understanding—a

ICE’S POV:"Mommy!" I heard History's excited voice echoing through the house, and I couldn't help but smile. I knew he, along with his dad, Iciest, and his brother, Chronicles, were eagerly waiting for me and our little angel, Legend. With a fond shake of my head, I anticipated History's imminent arrival in the room that Iciest and I shared.I glanced at my 2-year-old daughter, her vibrant violet and green eyes meeting mine. She had inherited those striking eyes from me. Gently, I dressed her in a beautiful blue dress, carefully placing a delicate white flower tiara on her head before braiding her hair. It was a marvel to think about the journey that had led to this point—after everything that had transpired, the unexpected gift of another baby had caught Iciest and me by surprise. Recollecting a past conversation with my two older children about their desire for a third sibling once their parents reunited (which, unbeknownst to me at the time, referred to me and Iciest), I had decid

ICE’S POV:As my arms encircled him, I could feel his body tremble beneath my touch. It was clear that his façade was cracking and that the tough exterior he tried to project was giving way to the pain he held within. I gently turned him to face me, his tear-streaked face a testament to the battle raging inside him."It's going to be alright, brother," I murmured, my voice a steady anchor amidst the storm of his emotions. I held his gaze, willing him to believe my words. "Your sister will not leave you again." His eyes, usually so guarded, seemed to soften with a glimmer of hope as our connection deepened.Yet, as we stood there locked in our embrace, something shifted in Grayson. His defenses crumbled, and the floodgates he had erected against his feelings began to open. The sound of his sobs, raw and heartbreaking, reached my ears, and I felt a pang in my chest. This was his pain, his vulnerability laid bare, and I was honored that he chose to share it with me.Tears welled up in my

ICE’S POV:Guns were drawn, tension hung thick in the air, and it seemed like a standoff was about to erupt, but amidst the pointed weapons, only Zia and I stood without weapons, locked in a chilling gaze. With a wry smile, Zia's voice slithered forth, her words carrying a mocking tone: "Well, isn't this a cozy gathering? Traitors' offspring all grown up. What a delight."My response wasn't as amusing as hers. I fixed her with a cold stare, my voice cutting through the tension like a blade. "Why drag me, my brother, and those who matter to me into this? What's the point of involving us in the tangled mess our parents made that wasn’t our problems in the first place?"Zia's laughter rippled, a bitter melody in the midst of the charged atmosphere. She fired back, her tone dripping with sarcasm, "Oh, come on. Did you really expect me to roll out the red carpet for you just because your parents are the culprits and it doesn’t include you?"I didn't grace her question with an immediate ans

THIRD PERSON’S POV:The group wasted no time, moving with calculated precision. Zee sat hunched over a bank of monitors, fingers dancing across the keyboard as lines of code scrolled across screens along with Taylor.Arthur leaned against the wall, his gaze fixed on the surveillance feed showing the imposing structure of Zia's base across the street. Luke tinkered with a small device on the table, his earbuds plugged in as he kept an ear on the team's communication while Jaycel was just on the side watching them.Zee muttered to herself, "Alright, I've patched into their security network. I can see the guards patrolling the perimeter."Arthur replied, "Keep an eye on the guards' patterns. We don't want any surprises."Luke nodded his head with a sighed as he mumbled, "I've got the signal jammers set up. ICE’S POV:Inside, an ensemble of guards stationed throughout offered their respectful greetings. It was a familiar routine, and their commitment to our children's protection never wavered.Venturing deeper, we were met with a heartwarming sight. On the couch, our two children were engrossed in their tablets, undoubtedly lost in the world of their game company—an endeavor they had taken upon themselves. My throat gave a subtle cough as we entered their line of sight. In response, their heads snapped up in a mixture of surprise and sheer delight. The room was alive with a sort of controlled chaos. I watched as History hopped off the sofa with a reckless enthusiasm that sent a pang of worry through me. His father's voice, laced with pure concern, rumbled like a soothing undertone, "Be careful, baby!"Chronicles, his older brother, didn't hold back either. His words came out in a stern, almost icy tone, but beneath that frostiness, concern flickered like a hidden flame: "Slow down, Histo

CALVIN’S POV:Meanwhile, Grayson sat alongside Zee, the enigmatic figure responsible for the intricate hacking that fortified Ice's group. Learning that Zee led the faction known as Antares stunned everyone, even Arthur and Luke, cyber experts themselves, who had worked under her leadership for so long. I made a mental note to uncover the backstory behind Grayson and Zee's connection when the timing was right.Other than Ysabelle, Taylor, and Arthur, who were already acquainted, the rest of the newcomers had just arrived this morning. The dynamics in the room were captivating—a mix of camaraderie and curiosity, like a puzzle waiting to be solved.Amidst the hum of conversations, what puzzled me was the trio from Jaycel's team; their gaze was locked onto Travor. He remained unfazed by their judgmental stares, a mischievous grin playing on his lips. He seemed impervious to their scrutiny as he goaded the mother of his child, her simmering anger evident yet contained.Within this intrica
