KIANA’S POV:

Calvin and that guy were still locked in combat, and despite my own injuries, worry gnawed at me. As I mulled it over, I remembered that Calvin was an heir to some powerful organization, and it struck me that he must have undergone intense training since his childhood.

It's funny how I realized I didn't know much about him, yet here I was, placing my trust in him without hesitation. I had made up my mind; I was determined to stand by his side, come what may.

In the midst of the fight, Calvin's eyes met mine as he kicked the impostor away. His expression grew serious as he commanded, "Go find him. I'll handle this."
