Today’s Tristan’s birthday. We haven’t on talking terms since the night he burst on me for favouring his mother which isn’t true. Keeping my self-pride aside, I took half day from work to prepare for his birthday with the help of Travis since I have no idea how he celebrates his birthdays. He’ll miss his father so I have to make sure that we make this day memorable for him.

“Mom, Dad doesn’t like cake and sugary treats much but he loves home baked cakes with a lot of dry fruits in vanilla flavour. We can add protein in the cake to make it a healthier option for him.” Travis said. The maids were also helping us. We decided to celebrate his birthday in the mansion. I know he was trying his hard to run from facing the bitter reality and to supress his pain and grief.
