[ Claire ]

“Here is the last dish, my signature smoked chicken in spices with steamed rice and grilled tuna fish. I have prepared Greek salad to balance the carbs.” Tristan said placing a large tray containing our food on the table. We set the dinner table at the terrace as the evening was beautiful and we wanted to enjoy family time.

“It looks really delicious, Dad.” Travis’ eyes sparkled when he looked down at our lavish feast prepared by his father.

“I can’t wait to dig in. Take your seat, Tristan. We’ll offer our prayer and then we’ll dig in this mouth watering feast.” I said and he took off his apron and sat between I and Travis. We said our prayers and I first took a bite from the smoked chicken.

“Umm, it’s so tender and juicy, this is the best chicken of my life, I swear.” I moaned as flavours busted inside my mouth.

“I am glad you like the food, Claire.” Tristan smiled widely.

“Dad cooks the best grilled tuna, Mom. You should take it and then you’ll forget the chicken.” Travis
