[ Mavis's POV ]

I have been waiting for Denise to come out from her house so we could leave her neighborhood.

Being born with a silver spoon, I have lived my life in luxury, so that's why I kind of found Denise's neighborhood irritating.

It wasn't dirty, nor was it crowded, but having grown up in a rich and well fenced mansion, I wasn't pleased with her neighborhood.

The houses weren't fenced, and most of the houses were facing each other. This is the first time I have seen houses like this, so I just want to leave this place to my comfort zone.

I could even hear music and voices from here and there, making the whole place look so noisy. This isn't done in my neighborhood.

Even when I was still growing up and living with my parents, our neighborhood was always quiet, and if you dare disturb the peace of others, you'd be arrested for it.

But here in Denise's neighborhood, it's so different, people can make noise however they want. I guess this is the other side of America that I haven
