Denise feels insecure

[ Denise's POV ]

After Mavis said he was only nice to me because his mom was there with him, I got mad at myself for actually believing Mavis might have one way or the other care about me.

I am a fool, thinking that this man standing in front of me can actually care about me. He might care about his mom, Ethan and the rest of people in his life, but not me. I am so stupid to have fall for his cheesy words.
