She made the first move

[ Mavis's POV ]

I came down from my car after I packed it in the garage. Denise wasn't with me, because I took her home, and left the house saying I have somewhere important to go. I didn't have an important place to go to, I only lied to Denise, because I didn't want her to find out the surprise I had for her.

I saw the phone Denise was using when she dropped it beside me last night. It was old, and the screen of the phone had so many cracks on it, and that's why I decided to get her a new smartphone, at least she will no longer use her cracked phone anymore. I also got her a brand new laptop, not because I didn't want to share mine with her, but I just wanted her to have her own laptop, so she can communicate with the people she'd love to talk to.

After I got her a laptop and a brand new phone, the next thing that came to my mind was getting her mom a laptop too. At least Denise can always video call her family anytime she wants to, because I know she misses them so much.

I told Eth
