What happened to Denise

[ Mavis's POV ]

I left the house early, not because I was mad at Denise. I am trying to figure out why she kissed me and ran away, but it clearly didn't mean l was mad at her. I enjoyed the kiss, so there was nothing to get mad about. The reason why I told Denise I was going to come late today was because today happens to be the death anniversary of Ava, making it three years that she left this world.
