[ Mavis's POV ]

I walked closer to the shaking flowers, and when I took a peep at the flowers, I saw Ethan picking out some flowers. "Ethan" I called his name, and Ethan quickly raised his head to look at me. "Boss," He said.

"What are you doing here Ethan?" I asked, because I am sure Ethan didn't attend my family's party. I invited him to join me, but he declined saying he needed to take care of his sick mother. I tried being of help to him, but Ethan would always refused my help.

"I am picking out some flowers, boss," Ethan answered innocently.

"Flowers?" I asked, looking at him.

"Yes boss. I arrived at your dad's house when you were talking to Leo. I wanted to greet you, but it seemed you both were discussing something important, that's why I didn't bother to greet you" He said.

"I thought you said you won't be able to make it to the family party, because of your sick mom?" I asked.

"Yes, but she was the one who asked me to come here"

"How is she?"

"Thankfully she's getting better,
