I screamed in fear as an oncoming van ran towards him.

I closed my eyes in fear.

There was a screech followed by passer-by screams.

I looked at the road and my soul nearly left my body.

Isla was on the floor with her body protectively around Aiden.

I placed my hand on my chest and breathe in a sigh of relief.

I quickly ran towards them and took Aiden away from Isla.

"Are you okay?" I asked worriedly as I held him in my arms.

Isla turned around but just as she took a step

to walk, she collapsed.

My jaw dropped that my hands and feet went cold.

I was finally able to rush Isla to the hospital, while I was at that, Felix called multiple times but I rejected his calls because I didn't want him to be aware of the situation. He would kill me.

I sat beside Isla on the bed as I waited for her to finish the infusion that was connected.

The doctor actually said earlier that she had a slight concussion on her head but with a little rest, she should be fine.
