Chapter 10

  These five days living with the big boss as a housemate, make her believe that she had two children to be taken care of. As usual, her baby will wake her up every early in the morning to have some milk and she will prepare breakfast.

    Today is Tuesday, the café is closed every Tuesday. After done having breakfast, she will clean the house, this is the most annoying part because her housemate had shown and proof a lot that he is a lazy bum! He seems to like to throw his clothes on every corner of the house and left unfinished packed snacks everywhere he goes.

    He messes anywhere he can whether it is a living room, the dining room even the toilet. He is totally like a three years old kid! And every time she confronts him about his habit, he will guiltily apologize to her and he tries hard to remember to not make a mess again. He had improved his habit a little bit but still needs to be scolded by Rosa.

    After finished cleaning the house, she let her baby play on the baby mats and as usual, she open her laptops to check her progress of work. Louis never visits the café and only stayed in the house, so she will always discuss with him the plans and progress while they have their dinner together. Louis really doesn't care about his café but he always nods at every word she said and finishes with a reply 'Well done.'

"Good morning little lady!" A husky voice greets behind her.

"Aaah! Eehhh!" Her baby who was laying on the mats while biting boringly her hello kitty quickly turn herself and roll sideways towards Louis. It is her new technique to move faster!

    Seeing her unique rolls Rosa can't help to shake her head. She was not sure whether to laugh or to cry. Looking at Louis, he is now wearing a white sweater and black tracksuit. His messy hair and face were full of sweat. At first, she didn't believe Louis had this habit to jog early in the morning because of his lazy traits. But when she remembers back at their first meeting, his top body naked at that time does show his athletic body muscle. At least he had some good habit, Rosa thought to herself.

"Good girl!" Louis picks her up after the baby had touched his legs.

"Big boss, don't let her touch your wet beard! I had just washed her up." Rosa warned. Her daughter really likes to play with his beard, is it because her mother doesn't have it? Should she eat beard hormone, so that her daughter will not abandon her for this?

    Louis carefully holds Damia without letting the baby touch his sweat and puts her on the baby chair. Then he gives her a biscuit baby and he eats the breakfast that Rosa had made for him. Louis and Rosa didn't talk a lot, it makes Rosa think that he is a quiet person, a man who only talks when he needs to. However, Rosa was wrong again. Louis is a talkative person when he is with her baby!

"My lady, is the biscuit suit your taste?"

"Ahhhhm!" Damia waves her right-hand shows her biscuit with a big smile.

"I'm glad you like it. I promise you, I will buy more tasty biscuits so that my lady will not lose this beauty." Louis pinch gently Damia's round chubby cheek.

    Damia's eyes interact with him like she really understands Louis. She nods with a satisfied face and continues to put her hand on her mouth, to eat the biscuit.

    Rosa chuckled seeing both of them. Looking from afar, Louis looks like a big grizzly bear and her daughter is a big fat baby grizzly bear. They both have the same hair color and same gusto when eating. She was laughing but then, she feels a sting on her nose and eyes. Her husband was actually a very good man. He loves his son, always plays together, and bought a lot of toys for him.

   When she found out he was cheating for the first time, he used his sweet words and a lot of promises. She then forgives him and they were living happily again. When she suspects he is cheating again, her husband will show how much he loves her, making her fall in love again and again.

   But every two to three months, she always notices a hint his husband cheats behind her back with different other girls. Until she saw it herself, her husband brings another woman into their own house! Making love on their bed! It was the worst heartbreak she had ever felt!

    Since then, she can't even look at him. She felt disgusted and her heart felt like being stab deeper and deeper. She asks for a divorce. However, he won't let her, and no one support her and only blame her. She wants to fight it in court. However, her husband turns rampage and while he was drunk he forces her to have intercourse and makes her pregnant again. 

    Then, her baby was born and the baby looks so much like her husband. She almost had a mental break down but with support from her late mother and her friend, Laila, she made this huge decision. She will run away. She will vanish from his life and only left him the only one that proves their once true love, their son. She takes away the baby to remind her painful memory, a baby that does not come from love.

"Rosa... Rosa..."

   Rosa blinks her eyes again and again back to reality. But she only saw a blur in her eyes. Her cheek is wet.

"What happens? Have a headache? Stomach pain?" Louis was kneeling, patting her back to coax her and her baby on Louis's right arms, looking at her with a sad face.

   Rosa shakes her head to assure him that she is ok. However, the gentle pat on her back makes her wanted to cry loudly. Feeling embarrassed being looked at by Louis at her pitiful side, she grabs her baby, hugs her, and buried her face to her baby neck. She tries to stop crying but she couldn't.

    When her baby been hug by her mother, the baby feels an intense sad feeling from her mother and she wails loudly hugging her mother's neck tightly. This makes Rosa lost her mind and start to wail too.

    Louis who was worried before, also lost. Their wailing was very loud and he doesn't know what to do. In Louis's eyes, he saw two white ducks hugging and crying like being abandon in a cold place. It makes his heart hurt too and with instinct, he open his big arms and hug. Hoping that both will feel warm by his hug.

   Damia already sleep on Rosa's chest and Rosa also had stop from crying she had buried herself in her baby before, now realize Louis was hugging them to calm them down, she can't stop feeling embarrassed again. She wants to bury her face on her baby forever!
