Chapter 47

My vision is becoming blurry by the minute and every single building seems to be moving too close to me. I can barely breathe and sweat trickles down my forehead. My throat is as dry as a desert. 

My chest feels tight. 

This is not the place to faint. One of the men, the head of the group, or so I assume, moves closer to me. His eyes are bloody red and one eye is twitching on and off like a light bulb. Blake is on the other side struggling to get to me and his anger can clearly be detected.

"Don't touch her!" He yells and the man turns to him and laughs, a very terrifying laugh. Then he turns back to me.

"It's either you're the cops or the cops sent you or–"

I cut him off. 

"I'm looking for someone."

"Wonderful! Well you can't go through without the code," he bellows and stares down at me keenly.
