Chapter 39
"This car, feels amazing. I love it, babe. Thank you so much." I steal a glance at him and he winks at me.
"You're welcome, babe. So where are you taking me?" he cocks his head to the side and I chuckle.
"Just hold on tight and you'll see." At that moment I step on the gas and speed off. I feel like a rebel. Like a princess who has eloped with her prince charming to a far away, forbidden land. A thought crosses my mind. What if my mom finds out that Blake bought me this car, what would I tell her?
Focus on now and leave later alone. If it gets to that point, we'll figure it out. I tell myself.
Minutes later, I stop the car at the beach. It doesn't look as lovely as the last time I was here with Scott since right now, the sun is up and apparently the seagulls are very few today. No waves at all, but hey, I am here to enjoy the moment.
As we walk to the shore, Blake holds my hand and we both stop walking.

*Scott's POV*It's been two months now and my dad hasn't come back home since he was assigned a really major duty in Afghanistan. This is how hard it is to be the child of a military father.
