“Nana Korobi, ya oki”
It was a busy day at their office that time. They rushed everything because their boss will be in America on the upcoming days. It’s been a hard time for them since Miana was not around. Miana’s knowledge wasn’t passed to anyone and the new employee can’t remember the things she taught. Now, her colleagues already know how important her job is, especially when the boss calls for a meeting. Miana did the work to summarize and take down everything so they can ask her about the things they forgot. They regret what they said to Miana. It’s been four days since she’s not going to work. They were worried. They got news that Miana

Miana went home early to freshen up before the last office meeting before she took off her flight to the US. She decided to walk so her mind could be free from any stress. She looked from window to window, enjoying the view she’s seeing. She stopped by a magazine store and read some articles when she started to continue walking. While lost in her own thoughts, someone collided with her and threw her bag. She didn’t look at the person. She grabbed her bag and continued to walk when someone talked. “Miana?” She heard a familiar voice that called her name. She looked back and saw her classmate from the province. “Hey, Miana?! Yeah, that’s you” “Oh? Shelly?” “Yes, Shelly. I thought you forgot about me” “Oh” “I heard news that you went into the city and find your luck here” “Who told you that?” “It’s a news there. I don’t know if that’s true. But can I ask you something?” “What?”
You didn’t love her. You just didn’t want to be alone. Or maybe, she was just good for your ego. Or, maybe she made you feel better about your miserable life, but you didn’t love her. Because you don’t destroy people you love.

“Thank you for all the pain, Albay. If we meet again, maybe I’m fully healed and happy.” She looked back again before heading towards the bus. There was a smile on her face but her eyes saying that she’s not happy. She started to walk away from the place, from the pain, and to all the people who hurt her in the past. This is her time to change her mindset and live in a positive way. “Are you ready, guys?” “Where are we going, Ate?” “Somewhere we can relax first. And I’ll treat you to anything you want” “Oh! It’s not a usual sight for her to see, she remembers all the things she did for her dreams and for her family. The genuine happiness that she’s needing is for her to see that her siblings are living their life with happiness and full of hope. Tears fell before she knew it. Her siblings got worried on her. “If your dreams don’t scare you, they are too small” -Richard Branson Dreams were a path for people to achieve something they want in their lives. These thoughts made them see a bigger picture other than the situation they were in. A cherished aspiration. A goal ---- a finish line of a race. People wanted to achieve something, bigger than everyone else. Money, power, fame, and career were the fundamentals of life as people thought. If you don’t have any of these, you’re useless, pathetic---- worse, people might see you as nothing. People started dreaming when they reach a certain age of consciousness where they knew what they want in life whether they saw other people’s achievements around them or people they saw on television or what they read in books. All of them were eager to learn, to grow, to lift their life to the highest ladder of life possible so they won’t be belittled. They were pressured with every societal norm that life throws out---

A clean room with a soft breeze of an air freshener. You can say that someone with a great hand was living in this place. At the living area you can see a cute sofa with a small table for a morning coffee or tea, under that was a pile of books. There were paintings on the wall that signified dreams and the love of a family. If you walked past, there was a door at the right side which is Miana’s room. Then, the cozy kitchen of Miana that she was proud of--- complete utilities and a complete set of cooking materials with different expensive appliances. It was painted silver and black. Small but adorable especially for a kind of person like Miana. Miana woke up with the sound of the laptop, Gracel was watching a movie. She sat while looking at what Gracel was watching.“CARPE DIEM, seize the day. Makes your lives extraord
