The air outside the bedroom in the private jet was tense as the doctors remained on standby.

Melanie, on the other hand, slept like a baby.

The next morning, she looked at the bags under Jefford’s eyes, as well as the four doctors. It was a stark contrast with her plump, dewy skin from a good night’s rest. She felt immensely better.

Although her breakfast was filled with vegetables once again, she enjoyed her meal thoroughly.

“The car’s waiting downstairs,” Jeffrey said. He helped Melanie with her luggage, and escorted her into the elevator.
