Emma's POV

I stumbled on the corridor as I ran out of the cabin, never in a million years did I expect this from Draven. All the respect I had for him fell down to the depths of Hell.

I ran inside my cell and closed it, the four walls which gave me nightmares for the past few weeks were now the only place where I felt safe.

My face was wet with sweat and I had strands of hair sticking on it. I looked like a mess, like someone who had just managed to save herself from the clutches of Satan himself.

Once I was alone in the cell, I broke down in tears. I covered my face and let myself wither down. This heartbreak was too much for me to bear…

All this year of love, sacrifice, and dedication only to be stooped down to the level of being his whore.

Before he said those cruel words, I was actually constructing a sentence within my mind to tell him the truth. Tell him that I was pregnant with his child.

But now… It did not matter! A man who doesn't even see me with respect, won't ever accept

Emma's POV Six years later…The gates of the Silver Moon Pack airport were opened and the passengers gushed out. Amongst them was a young woman in fashionable clothes, holding a bag and pushing a trolley.I removed my sunglasses and took in a deep breath; everything about this pack felt the same as it did six years ago. "Mom! Brother stole my candy." I was about to walk out of the terminal when I heard a meek little voice complain. I turned my head to see my twins tugging on a piece of candy.Six years ago, after that accident, I lost all hopes of surviving. But like a shore to someone deserted in the sea, a group of rogue healers saved me. They took me to their camp in the woods and started to heal me. Thanks to them, not only did I recover despite being severely injured, but even my baby was safe. After I recovered, I did not know where to go or what to do. I certainly cannot go back to the pack knowing that there was someone out there trying to kill me. Unable to think of anythin

Emma's POVI said, "Don't talk about him, especially in front of the kids.""Emma, are you serious right now? You are in his pack, there is no way you can keep lying to the kids anymore." Alexander said.I looked at my kids who were fast asleep; they didn't know who their father was. When they were born, I did not stress myself. I knew there would be a point where they would ask me about him and I was sure I would have a well-constructed story by then. But to my surprise, they asked me the question sooner than expected. I could not tell them that their father did not want us, it would shatter my kids in the same way it shattered me. So, I told them that their father was dead.I know it is cruel but I have to protect my children.I muttered, "I won't ever let Draven get his hands on my kids. It's just a matter of a week; once I am done with my work, I will go back and never return.""I hope everything finishes smoothly." Natalie chimed."Here we are…" Alexander parked the car in the p

Emma's POVThe audience gasped loudly and started to look at each other in confusion. For the past six years, no one dared to even say my name out loud within the pack. I was a taboo who was long forgotten, but now when the reporter was suddenly digging up my name, people were visibly horrified.I turned sideways to address Alex, "This was you, wasn't it?"The man giggled and said, "We have to set the right kind of atmosphere for your big entry."I shook my head, this was way too dramatic but I wasn't complaining.Alpha Draven's eyes turned colder and colder like the air around him. Even though we were far behind downstage, we could still feel the chilly aura he was emitting.Stella clenched her fist, and she lunged to grab his mic to say something but Draven spoke first, "What about her?"My head bogged itself up to look at him, I did not expect him to respond to the question. The reporter corrected his glasses and asked, "Alpha, as you know, Miss Whitemane died six years ago during

Emma's POV"What is this?""Oh my God, she looks exactly like Emma."The banquet today was a rollercoaster ride for the guests. They were all looking amused by what I was presenting them. I sneaked a glance at the Alpha who was still near the mic stand. He wasn't making a single sound but there was obvious confusion and disbelief on his face. I smirked to myself, that was what I wanted.I went to the assassin and signaled at the guards to loosen her.I said, "This is Rosary Flint, a small-time rogue assassin. She is the real culprit.""Is this… true? Are you the one who stabbed me that night?" Stella fell back a few steps and landed in Draven's arms. When Rosary was silent even after all this, Draven finally stepped in. In his authoritative Alpha tone, he asked, "She is asking you something. Did you do it?"Rosary shivered a little by his intimidating tone, I knew that my work was done here. I crossed my arms and joined Alex and Natalie at the corner."Answer at once." Alpha Draven

Draven's POV“Alpha, Miss Whitemane’s van has met with an accident. She is dead.”When my Beta first came to my office and broke this news to me, I felt my wolf tear down for the first time. The documents which were in my hands slipped to the floor and the next thing I knew, I was in my car, rushing to the crash sight.I even jumped a few red lights and when I reached there, the firemen were busy securing the crash sight. I did not care about the do not enter signs, I shoved away everyone who tried to restrain me and ran down the cliff. The crash had set the van on fire and it had destroyed almost everything. I fell down on my knees, looking at the wreck. Was she really gone? Was she really dead?My wolf had been in many wars and had the ugliest of injury painting his body but none of them gave him the kind of pain he was experiencing right now. Draven's POVI was too stunned to say anything and I felt like my eyes were deceiving me.I searched for her for a whole month and waited for her for six years. Where was she all this time? Why didn't she come back? How did she even come into the pack without any of us noticing? What gave her the guts to just walk in here and announce herself as alive? Wasn't she afraid that I would hunt her down and throw her back in the jail where she belonged?I wanted to strangle her, I could not bear the sight of her walking around alive after what she put me through. If not for my wolf threatening to claw me, I would have literally killed this woman.Stella immediately got into a fight with her, I was not surprised by this. What surprised me was how patient Emma was. She was sailing through all the judgemental looks and curses with grace.

Draven's POV “...” “...” I was in the pack house, sitting in my office and staring down at the two kids who were still in their pajamas. Just downstairs in the lab, the doctors were doing a paternity test to see if these kids belonged to me. But for some reason when I looked at them, I felt like I was looking into a mirror. Roger got a bunch of private investigators after Emma as soon as I ordered all her information on my table. It turns out the girl managed to escape the pack territories with the help of that asshole and was living in the same city as him. She went back to college to complete her graduation which she had to drop because of our marriage and now was working as the head nurse in a hospital. I was lazily browsing through the records when suddenly, my phone rang. It was one of the investigators who was sent after Emma. I picked up the call and asked, “What is it?” “Alpha, Miss Whitemane has kids.” He replied on the phone. “What?” I slammed the document shut and sh

The turbulence had been mild, but my exhaustion made everything feel heavier, the vibrations of the landing rumbling through my already tense body. More than twenty-four hours had passed since I last slept, but fatigue had yet to claim me. Restlessness coiled tight in my chest, refusing to let go.I stole a glance at Draven beside me. He was checking his phone, his sharp features set in a mask of unreadable focus. The moment the aircraft doors opened and we stepped into the terminal, his phone rang. The distinct vibration pattern told me it was Robin. Draven did not even waste a second and picked up the call immediately.“What is it?” His voice was low and controlled, but I could sense the undercurrent of tension.I stayed close as he listened, his expression darkening with every second. By the time he hung up, his jaw was clenched so tight I thought it might crack. He asked, “Are you sure you have the
