chapter 5

during the driving tris was blabbing non stop while Zayn was driving. around the corner of my eye i could see him stealing glances at me through the front mirror. 

i was trying to keep up to tris speed of baffling but failed miserably. 

then i heard Four trying to enter my mind. 

i opened my mind link only to jolt hearing him yelling "where the fuck is your snails ass? where are you? do you know for how fucking long i have been trying to mind link you!"

Seeing me jolt Tris went quiet gaining Zayn's attention. 

"Geez. stop yelling what happened?" i asked 

"the ground was shaking. you used your powers! For God sake how many times have i told you not to do that." 

Four started scolding me and i rolled my eyes. 

he is super protective brother. oh sorry! let me correct myself. super overly protective ass brother 

"It's not like i could control it. it just happened! i saw my mate with another girl so i got angry it turns out she was his sister and now " i tired to explain but he cut me off saying 

"Wohhhhh. wait did you find your mate?" 

Four asked 

"yes i am going on a picnic with him and his sister!" 

i said and heard Four yell "what?"at me on which i jolted. 

"Stop yelling or i will block you out of my mind!" 

i warned but he seemed not to care 

"Where are you going tell me. i am coming!" he said 

"No you are not." i said 

it's not like i don't want him to come. no i don't him to come and be an ass trying being protective and ruin things before they even start. 

"yes i am tell me..." he tried saying but i cut him off saying 

"Bye ass****" 

and blocked him out of my mind. 

that's when i realize Tris was there too looking at me like i was an alien. 

i smiled and explained that it was my brother asking me where i was. 

she told me that he can join but i denied. 

if i want to mess up things i would find a better way than call Four over. 

we reached at our picnic spot and i watched the place in awe. 

it was totally beautiful. 

tall mountains. a blue lake in front of them. trees covering every inch of ground. flowers around the lake. 

"It's beautiful!" i said and earned a giggle from tris 

"yes it is!" she said and asked me to help her and Zayn with picnic stuff. 

i helped them pick and set up the place. 

once we settle down everything we decided to go swimming in the lake. 

Tris gave me a black bikini which made my fair skin look even fair. 

as i walked up to the lake i saw Zayn in his swimsuit. 

all of his 8 abs were like giving me invitations and he was covered in tattoos. 

it was hard for me to look away from such perfection. i gulped my saliva and when i saw that he was also noticing me i felt my cheeks burn. 

"Done checking each other out?" 

Tris said gaining both of our attention. 

"Let's go" 

Zayn said 

his voice was like music to my ears. 

we all went inside the lake. water was a bit cold but i didn't care. 

we swam and played around a bit more. 

"okay so the water is not up to my liking i wish it was a bit warm!" 

Tris said. 

i thought for a while and went inside the water. when i was sure Tris and Zayn wasn't looking i felt the nearest the volcano's lava. 

my mood was good it wasn't a problem using my power of natural disasters. 

i called lava under the lake. 

it must be more than a thousand kilometers deep which was perfect. 

the lava reached under the lake and the lake immediately started warming up. 

i smiled and went on the surface of water. 

"Where have you been?" Zayn asked making me turn around. 

he looked worried. 

wait was he worried about me?!

i felt like my voice was stuck. still I managed to answer him 

"Swimming under water!" 

i said and saw him sigh in relief. 

"Hmm. the water is warmer!" Tris said and i smiled at that. 

we all played for a bit longer and came out. 

even the water was warmer the place was kinda cold. 

it didn't affect Zayn and Tris because off course their wolfs are keeping them warm but i am a human. 

so i am freezing. 

"Umm do you have a jacket?" I asked tris and she looked at me like i was talking nonsense. 

"Why would you need a jacket?" she asked. 

lowering my head i said " i am cold!" 

"Here" We turned to Zayn calling and throwing his coat at me. 

his coat had his vanilla mixed with butterscotch scent. i took a deep sniff of it and relaxed my stiff muscles due to all the swimming 

"care to thank my brother!" i heard Tris giggling. 

"Oh. thank you!" i said mentally slapping myself. 

then we sat down and started playing 20 questions. 

starting with me. 

after a few questions like my favorite color and my hobbies tris asked me a question at which i froze. 

"what is your wolf color?" 

i froze not knowing what to tell. 

should i tell them that i don't have a wolf?

would they look down upon me? 

will Zayn reject me because i am a human?
