Chapter 7

I saw Flynn whimper and look like someone who is suffering from constipation. I immediately let go of his tail and the second I did he run off to his mom and hid behind her.

He threw daggers while looking at me as if I just did a number on him.

I swear! These guys! They already know how to speak but still doesn't voice out the things they wanted to say. How am I supposed to know what I did wrong if you don't tell me? Even if you glare at me nothing will happen!

"Hahaha! Flynn, you look like someone who eat his shit! Hahaha! You look so hilarious, brother!" Bailey was so happy after witnessing what happened to his brother.

"You fucker! I will definitely tear your tail when I catch you!" Flynn looks like he's about to cry but Bailey still keeps on teasing him.

He looked at me like it's all my fault. Leona's was contorted like someone fighting the urge to laugh out loud because Flynn is beside him.

There's no helping it.

"I'm sorry, Flynn. You were shaking the truck violently. I started to feel dizzy and nauseous so I had to stop you. I just grab what my hand can reach. So... I apologize for... grabbing your tail?" I wasn't even sure about it. And if I should be apologizing for grabbing his tail or just for touching him?

I blinked innocently.

"You... you! You touch my---" before he can finish his sentence Hector started the engine so I didn't hear him.

I just smiled at him and played it safe.

"I apologize, okay? I will make it up to you. I promise."

He looked surprised when he heard me as if he was not expecting me to say that.

"Oh... Okay." He said simply.

Just when did Flynn become so amicable? But whatever! I just want to rest now. I don't want any argument! So, it's fine. I'll just give him some treats later.

Everyone was oddly quiet after the fuss. Even the laughing Bailey suddenly stopped.

I closed my eyes and tried to sleep.

I heard Hector fake a cough and ask Eleonor to hop on. She entered the backseat and sit beside her son, Bailey.

I slowly drifted away in my sleep while Hector drive his truck back to the cabin. The three wolves followed behind.

I wake up the next day feeling groggy. My shoulder hurts, my limbs ache and most of all my tummy is hungry.

I checked the clock and saw that it's already 12:47 p.m. I haven't had my breakfast. I looked at the ceiling while lying supine in my bed.

I tried to forget everything and wish that things were just a horrible dream. But the big black ball of cotton lying on the floor of my room proves that it's all real.

"That's your 32nd sigh since you wake up."

I turned to look at Leo who's eyes are still close lying comfortably on the side of my bed.

When I woke up he's already inside my room. I think he followed Hector when he put me to bed and spend the night here. Well, no one can go against him since he's the leader now.

And I'm not really that concern about him being here since he's been here yesterday. When he's still a wolf cub. I will just imagine him as a bigger version. Yeah, that's right! I don't even have a choice!

Maybe the only thing I need to watch out is him biting me to death.

"You're not going to bite me to death, right?"

I asked while my eyes are fixated on the ceiling as if there's something in there beside the lights.

I heard Leo stand up and annoyingly replied, "Damn! For the nth time, I told you I won't hurt you! If you ask one more time, I throw you to the bears in the woods!"

I forcefully turned my head in his direction when I heard what he was planning.

"How can you---"

I immediately back away when I saw his wolf face a few inches away on the edge of my bed.

"What?" He look so dumb.

I push myself up and sat.

"You're so annoying!"

"Say what?" He asked in disbelief.

Why? He's really annoying and that's a fact!

I heard someone knock on the door.

"Are you guys up?" I heard Eleonor's voice coming from the outside.

"Yes, aunt. Please come in." I answered politely.

She excuse herself and went in while holding a tray of food. Behind her was a walking snow cotton puff ball. I unconsciously raise both of my hands like I was telling it to jump into my arms.

I froze.

"Mom, that pervert wants to touch me!" Leona look at me with so much grievance. I remember the way Flynn's face contorted last night.

" P-pervert? Me? Aunt, your daughter is bullying innocent people! How can she call me a pervert?"

I feel the heat come up to my face. This is so embarrassing! Calling a young lady a pervert in front of others is just unacceptable.

Leona is now wearing a smug look on her face.

This kid! Sigh, I don't even know if she's really a kid. Thinking about how Bailey look like when he transformed last night made me think otherwise.

Eleonor look at us back and forth after putting down the tray. She shook her head.

"She's just teasing you for what you did to Flynn last night. Don't take it to heart." She said with a wide grin as if remembering her son's facial expression last night.

Not you too, Eleonor!

I feel like being a bully runs in their blood. I internally rolled my eyes.

Now that I think about it I should go take a look at Flynn. That guy is moody well, second to none other than the glaring black wolf at my bed side. I wonder what Eleonor ate when she's pregnant with this guy. His mood swings is comparable to a lady who's on her certain time of the month.

"You should eat to regain your strength." Eleonor said and went out of the room with her daughter following after her.

After the door close, I look at the food and Leo.

"Are you not eating?"

The food was only meant for one person. I haven't seen him going out of my room since I woke up. I don't know if he ate already.

I'm not concern about him, okay? Maybe slight?

But I'm just thinking about it since I don't want him to starve and get the idea of making me his snack!

"I went hunting earlier when you are still asleep."

My lips curve into a little "o" shape when I heard him. I immediately fell silent and scenes of him biting down a poor little rabbit to death filled my head.

I'm probably the next if I became careless.

Perhaps he noticed how quiet I have become, he gave me a sharp look.

"Eat."

He said in a commanding tone.

Fuck! I feel like I'm a livestock getting feed until I'm big enough to satisfy his hunger. But what can I do? At least he's not torturing me or anything, right? It's either I die now or I die later, is it?

I struggled to stand up and walked on the table where Eleonor put my food. My body is sore and I walk like a limp. Every step is so painful. I feel like the cold floor I step on is sending me an electric current.

I can hardly swallow my food because of the I idea that for every weight I gain is the closer I will get eaten. However, I tried really hard to finish my food because Leo is watching me. Luckily I didn't get indigestion.

I put the tray outside of my room and left a note of gratitude. My room is on the second floor and I am aching all over my body. I don't want to walk too much.

I decided to soak on a hot water to ease my pain but there's a problem...

"Aren't you leaving my room?"

The guy is still lying lazily on the floor with no indication of wanting to move.

"Please get out of my room."

I tried as much as I can to sound polite but that black figure remain unmoving.

That's it!

I have a short patience and this guy is challenging me. I know I can't beat him so if he wants to stay here then he can have it all to himself!

I grab a wooden basket where my bath kit is and take my clothes with me.

I opened the door and was about to get out but he stop my way out.

"Where do you think you're going?"

I didn't answer him and instead I just glance at the things I'm holding. Can't he see the obvious?

He knitted his non-existing eyebrows and a moment later he started to have a looming expression.

"Stay here."

"Then get out"

"No!" He growled.

"Can't you see I'm a lady?"

"So what?"

What?!

So what? He says?! My remaining rationality instantly vanish.

"You damn perverted mutt! I need to take a shower! Are you planning to see me naked?! Get out!"

I wouldn't care about having him in my room if I didn't know about last night. But he's a freaking grown up man in a wolf form! I remember when I hug and cuddle with him and his brothers. My gosh!

I... I... Fuck! Give me back my innocence!

My face instantly heat up. My voice echoed throughout the place and seconds later everyone came. They look at me and Leo like we grew another head.

Realizing the words I blurted, I can only imagine how red my face has become.

I kick Leo who's face full of shock out of the door and forcefully shut it with a loud bang.

I immediately slump on the floor and covered my face in embarrassment.

"Arrghhh! I hate you Leo! Pervert! Jerk! Aaaargghh!"

I continue to scream and curse him with all the bad words I know. My gosh! This is so freaking embarrassing!
