Elora went downstairs and turned into the dining room. She heard voices and the clinking of dishes from inside. Elora opened the door and found the room quite crowded. The members of the pack hadn’t left for work yet, and they all stopped what they were doing when they saw Elora.
Elora stood awkwardly in the doorway. There was no one she knew here. Elora gulped and walked backward while closing the door. She would eat when everyone else had left, as usual. Elora turned around and bumped into someone behind her.
