Elora woke up and felt a chill on one cheek. Her hands still tightly gripped the black book Arthur had given her. Elora’s face was wet and sticky with tears and snot. Elora blinked slowly. It took her a while to know where she was now. Elora was in the main room of her house. She could see the double doors opening a few feet away from her.

“Daddy?” call Elora. Her voice was hoarse. Elora stood up. It was almost night. Elora smelled burnt. There were black marks in several places on the floor, with piles of ashes flying slowly in the wind from outside. But what caught Elora’s attention now was the scene close to where she lay.

Arthur. Lying on the marble floor. A blackish-red liquid welled up around him.

“Daddy?” Elora walked over to Arthur, half dragging her aching leg. “Daddy,” she called again. No answer. Elora shook Arthur’s body. Heavy and cold. Elora raised her hand and found her palm covered in blood.

Caspian let Elora soak in the warm water when they returned to the hotel. It must have been hard for Elora to remember the most terrible incident in her life. Caspian could feel Elora’s sadness as she told him everything. No one can bear the loss of a family like that. It was too vile for a five-year-old.Before they returned earlier, Caspian took the time to take pictures of the walls in the room where Elora was locked up. Just like Caspian thought, according to Elora, the scribbles had meaning and had something to do with Elora’s power. Caspian sent the photos to Zed and asked Zed to print and sort them. When they return to Queenstown, they will study the symbols and hopefully find some meaningful clues.“Hi.” Elora came out of the bathroom, only wearing a towel wrapped around her to mid-thigh. Her voice was hoarse and soft, and Caspian was sure there was a reason why Elora was wearing a towel instead of a bathrobe. Not that Caspian didn&rsquo

It was almost midnight when Elora, Caspian, and Brittany arrived at the big house with a very high iron fence. Brittany opened the window and waved over the railing to a camera, watching them. The black gate opened a moment later. It increasingly convinced Elora that werewolves did like living in the suburbs, had super large houses, and hated light. This big house is an example. The light along the driveway that cuts through the courtyard was only a faint orange glow. Up ahead, a classic European-style three-story house stands tall, complete with a crystal chandelier hanging on the terrace.Brittany whistled. “Fat cat,” she said.“Want to try to seduce him? Who knows, he may be your mate,” joked Caspian.Brittany, who was behind the wheel, squinted as she watched Caspian through the rearview mirror. “You’ve treated me like a driver by sitting in the back there, Cas. At least keep your mouth shut.”“I&

“My parents’ graves?” said Elora.“Yes, and also your brother and sister.”“Where?” Elora’s hands clenched in her lap. The faces of her parents, Jacinda, and Jason flashed dimly in her mind. “Did you bury them all?”Alfonso glanced up, his eyes softened for a moment. “Yes. Me and some werewolves who work in the police. Because we found their bodies, and there’s no longer a member of The Moon Protector that left to properly bury the Alpha.”“Take me there.”“There is one thing I want to ask you before we go there.”“Say it.”“The black book,” Alfonso paused, “what is it for?”Elora turned her gaze to Caspian, asking whether or not to tell the truth. Caspian looked straight at Elora, almost expressionless.“I don’t know either,” answered Elora.“I know toda

Caspian, Brittany, and Elora searched around the house and find the real Alfonso locked up in a wardrobe in his large bedroom, along with his maid and chauffeur. After calling for help and making sure there were no more intruders, they returned to the hotel. “The intruders already knew we were coming, and they pretended to be residents of the house,” Brittany spoke after she finished making the phone call. “Alfonso is in shock and cannot be spoken to, so we cannot see him soon. I think you’d better get back to Queenstown. At least there Elora is safe, between the pack.” Caspian and Elora could not help but agree with Brittany’s idea. “Thanks for your help, Brit,” said Caspian. Brittany nodded and surveyed her torn clothes. “This is my favorite shirt,” she said with a frown. Caspian rolled his eyes. “I’ll buy a new one.” Brittany jumped from the chair and hugged Caspian happily. “You are my favorite cousin!” she said, kissing Caspian on the che

Caspian seemed to have disappeared into the earth when Elora tried to chase him. Elora thought Caspian would go for days, but he appeared early in the morning in Elora’s room while Elora was still asleep. Caspian gently shook Elora’s body. “El, wake up.” Elora opened her eyes and found Caspian lying on her side. His blue eyes stared intently at Elora with a gentle look. “You’re working today, right?” he said. Elora blinked. “What time is it?” “Four a.m.” Elora moaned softly, squirmed, then pulled the blanket higher up to cover her cheeks. Caspian laughed softly. “Where have you been?” asked Elora. Her eyes closed again, but consciousness had taken hold of her. “Take a walk,” said Caspian. “To Cooper’s grave.” Elora took her hand out from under the blanket and gently touched Caspian’s cheek. It’s cold. He must have just come home. “If you want to tell me something, tell me, Cas. Don’t keep it to yourself.” Caspia

Charlie greeted Elora in the meeting room with a bright smile on his face.“My best creative director!” he shouted with his arms open as if to hug Elora.Elora jerked her head back and furrowed her brows. “You’re not usually like this,” said Elora. She didn’t accept Charlie’s intention to hug her. Elora pulled up a chair next to Charlie and sat there.Charlie cleared his throat, then inched closer. “Don’t embarrass me in front of the clients,” he whispered in Elora’s ear.Elora glanced around. There were only the two of them and a few people from other departments. “I’m not humiliating you. The clients haven’t arrived yet, have they?”“Well, not yet.” Charlie massaged the bridge of his nose. Aiden was sipping one of his wine collections, which he brought from his North Island mansion to his old castle in Queenstown. He has not been back here for so long. After a few years ago, he decided to move and start a new life, free from the shadow of the man who always outperformed him in business competition. It turned out that Aiden’s decision was right. His business could have thrived on the North Island, and now he’s back knowing that his competitor is dead. Usually when Aiden was sitting on the balcony enjoying wine and this cold and gray autumn atmosphere, no member of the pack would dare to disturb him. But this time, Aiden heard approaching footsteps, and when Aiden realized the smell that followed was a strange smell, Aiden immediately stopped shaking the wineglass in his hand. “How did you get in?” asked Aiden, without looking at who had appeared at his residence this late. “No big deal,” replied Caspian. “I thought you sold the house, neighbour.

Ten years later….Caspian looked at himself in the long mirror in his room. Today is a very important day in his life. The day he had been waiting for for the last ten years.Caspian deliberately opened the bedroom door, because he was waiting for someone to arrive. As Caspian was adjusting the position of the suit attached to his body, the bedroom door snapped open and someone ran in, screaming.“Uncle!!”“I told you, call him Alpha!”A loud bang was heard, and the sound of a child screaming in pain followed. Caspian frowned, sharing the pain in the boy’s head. “It’s okay, Kate. He’s my nephew, anyway.”“If I let him, he’ll go easy on you, Cas!”“Mommy sucks!” Cooper shouted, then he ran away, leaving Caspian and Kate.Caspian smiled widely and hugged Kate. Kate hugged him back. She gave Caspian a few pats on the back before they let go.

“Elora!”Caspian shouted for her, but Elora kept running. They thrashed the snow under their feet, breaking through dry branches and braving the skin-biting air. Elora was in werewolf form, and she ran faster than Caspian.Caspian continued to chase after her, but all he could see was Elora’s back getting further and further away. Until they came to a dark and almost frozen riverbank. Elora suddenly stopped, then turned around. “Stop! Stay away from me!” she screamed. Caspian stopped a few yards from Elora. His lungs ached, and the wound throbbed like a second heart.“Elora,” Caspian spoke Elora’s name carefully, as if her name was sacred and contained magic. That one word can describe how longed and desperate Caspian is. He walked over, turning himself into a human again. Instantly, a chill shot through Caspian, worsening his condition and making his wound feel like it was being stabbed by a thousand tiny needles.

She shrugged and glanced at the nightstand beside Caspian’s bed. “I still can’t find her,” Brittany muttered. “It was as if she had disappeared from this world.”“She’s still alive. I can feel it.”“How about you stop looking for her? “Hëna.”Arapeta’s voice was at the threshold of Elora’s hearing. She felt dead to the world, but she was still awake. Elora could see everything around her, but at the same time, she could not feel her body. Elora seemed to float in another dimension, which looked the same as the world she knew.“No,” someone denied. Zed’s breath was close to Elora’s ear, whispering a doubtful refusal. “Hëna wouldn’t want to meet lowly werewolves like you! She is too sacred to be seen by the ignorant eye!”“Look who’s talking,” said Javier. “You mean the moon goddess doesn’t want to see you?”The sound of bullets cut through the night, and a moan of pain escaped Javier’s lips. “Bastard.” Zed gritted his teeth as he realized his shot had only hit the edge of Javier’s arm.Zed pulled the trigger again, but the gun fell from his hand,

However, there was only a cold reaction to Caspian’s question. “Didn’t you hear my explanation? Your best friend sells drugs!! And you’re angry because I killed him?? You should thank me!! “Are you sure?” Cooper asked. He still didn’t believe in Zed’s theory. The pack of The Moon Protectors was long extinct, and there is not enough evidence that they inherited Hëna’s powers. But Zed had done a lot of research, relating events, until he concluded; there was still one werewolf from that pack. And she is a woman.“Damn sure,” Zed replied. They were sitting on the balcony of the Sacred Storm restaurant. It’s a full moon tonight, and because it’s the holiday season, many tourists come here, including single women. Soft prey to satisfy Zed’s passion. Cooper was happy to see Zed in action because he said every woman looked so hilarious when they had fallen for Zed’s seduction. It used to be the territory of the Sacred Storm, but through tough negotiations with the Alphas at that time, they decided that the area would become a neutral area and a barrier between the territory of one pack from another.Caspian left his car on the side of the road. He made sure no one was around before turning himself into a werewolf. The sky was getting darker as Caspian made his way through the woods. That’s Zed. Elora could feel Zed beside her. His breath brushed against Elora’s cheek.“Let me go,” said Elora.Zed chuckled. “Why are you saying such useless things? You think I’ll let you go when you ask me to?”Elora struggled. They tied Elora’s body with ropes to a chair.
