Chapter sixty six

Kendrick strode into Darian's home, his eyes blazing with a fierce intensity. "We need to talk," he said, his voice low and menacing.

When he had tried to reach Darian the other day, he was interrupted by something from the coven and since then, he had not been able to tell him what was on his mind.

He looked into the house and found no one. It was quiet like a graveyard.

He knew where else he would be! His office.

And true to his thoughts, he was in his office with a stack of paper in his right hand, and a cup of coffee in his left.

Darian looked up from his desk, his expression guarded. He knew that when Kendrick came calling, it was usually bad news.

Darian was shocked to have seen Kendrick storming into his house. It was not unseen but whenever he came, he was never in that kind of mood.

What would have caused such a thing?

Knowing Kendrick, he knew it was something important.

Soon enough, his look of shock turned into something neutral.

"What is it?" he asked, his voice carefully
