Chapter sixty five

Susan sat cross-legged on the floor, her eyes fixed on Claire. "Okay, now focus on the flame," she said, gesturing towards the candle in front of them.

Claire looked at the candle and frowned, "I don't know how to do this."

She had never done something like this and seeing the candle before her eyes brought fear into her.

Abigail, who was sitting next to Susan, smiled reassuringly. "It takes time, dear. You'll get the hang of it."

She had a very kind smile which helped ease the fear that was going through Claire.

Susan nodded in agreement. "Just keep practicing. You have the power within you, you just need to learn how to control it."
