Chapter eighty seven

"Claire. Claire, wake up." Claire felt a light gap on her shoulder. She stirred in her sleep, trying to get out of her sleepy state.

"Claire, wake up. I have great news."

Claire wanted to wake up but she was too deep into the sleep to hear properly what the other person was saying.

She opened her eyes slowly and was met with Abigail's eyes staring back at her. "Hmm?" She asked as she rubbed the sleep off her eyes.

She was shocked to see the day had darkened considerably. How many hours had she slept? She had noideo but judging from the little light which streamed into the room, she guessed it was three hours. Well, that was good. She had not gotten that much sleep for a long period of time.

She sat up and squinted her eyes at Abigail. Abigail sat at the edge of the bed and started to spread out the sheet which was wrinkled by Claire's body.

"You said you have news right?" Claire asked tiredly.

"Yes. Let's have dinner before I tell you." Abigail said with a twinkle in her eyes.

Claire
