And for some reason, his eyes change from black to red; I think he misses our mates.” Jason answered, as my eyes zoned in on the red eyes of his wolf nervously, almost missing what he said.

"Mates?" I asked, arching a brow; I know it wasn't unheard of for wolves to have more than one mate during their lifespan or even at once. But I had never met anyone happy in an open relationship with more than one female.

"Yeah, man, it's complicated as fuck though!" He laughed, shaking his head, obviously losing himself in thought.

"Women, huh!" I laughed, but I couldn't help envying the lucky bastard; he had no idea how lucky he was, even if it was complicated! To have two females who loved and worshipped him when I was over here alone, my mate lost, but honestly, even if she wasn't, she despised me and refused to show me a shed of affection. She ne
