Seals were difficult to place and even more difficult to remove. Unlike other abilities that could be dealt with by taking care of the source of the problem - which in most cases is the wielder dishing the attack - a seal could only be broken when some specific conditions were met. There were some seals that could only be removed by the one who placed them. Such seals would remain forever if the one responsible died! Only if the victim found the hidden locks to the seal, could the seal be undone. Unfortunately, it was difficult to find those locks. They were mysteries that could not easily be seen through, even by great Scholars. The other type of seals was the immortal type. An immortal seal was just as the name implied - it lasted forever. The caster had no right or the ability to remove the seal, neither were they any hidden locks - conditions for removal - that had to be met. Immortal seals were the most brutal of seals since it took the life of the caster and/or a number of other
The seal had placed a ban on Mane’s use of Edict. That meant that his both his Glows and Breaths were inaccessible to him; all but one.BasileusThat power was an inheritance that Mane received as a scion of Weapon Masters. It was the Glow that his Granduncle came to be known by. It was the power that depended on Edict for activation and not Edict; and the young Supreme was eager to remind the Citadel men of who had locked them up in this barrier in the first place. This world didn’t have much Chaos and Mane could only use what he had saved up from before. But that was enough; that would do.“Glow: Basileus.”“What is that feeling?” Elder Hanuman suddenly stopped moving and stretched out his stop Dragon King Bast from making a move as well. His eyes narrowed into slits as he observed Mane keenly.“What are you doing?” Dragon King Bast asked. He frowned in annoyance at the fact that someone had stopped his fun. It didn’t matter that that someone was Elder Hanuman. All he knew was that
“It is strange,” Mane spoke to the two men as he slowly walked towards them.“Oh? What is?” Dragon King Bast asked as he too walked towards the young Supreme. His eyes flashed brightly as he prepared his power. Elder Hanuman was not eager to confront Mane; however, he couldn’t let Dragon King Bast go on his own. So he too followed after the Dragon Lord, being only a few steps behind him.“When I was ten, I challenged my friends to a battle without inner energy,” Mane started but was interrupted by Dragon King Bast.“And let me guess: you won?” he asked with a mocking smile on his face.“I did; but I did so against a group of vastly talented young heroes with brilliant bloodlines who could freely use Edict, unlike myself,” Mane smiled and said. His words surprised Dragon King Bast a bit but it wasn’t that shocking.“So where are these young talents you speak of? Why aren’t they standing next to you?” Dragon King Bast wondered. There were many who were deemed to have limitless talents b
*Crackle*The fire that burned away at several buildings suddenly came alive. As though they had gained sentience they rushed towards Mane and formed a massive vortex around the young Supreme. Soon the flames merged and burned, growing into a massive dragon that breathed and lived and ate and drank fire.“This power…I recognize it now!” Elder Hanuman was finally able to place it. He was finally able to remember what it was that had bugged him about this power.“This is the power of Basileus!” he screamed. “This boy is a descendant of Basileus!”Dragon King Bast frowned when he heard Elder Hanuman’s words. His expression was as sore as a jar of vinegar and the hand that held the Dragon Blade trembled ever so slightly.“I may kill him accidentally. Don’t stop me.” Dragon King Bast’s playful demeanor was gone. With a giant leap he rushed towards Mane.“I wasn’t planning to,” Elder Hanuman replied and went after him. He did not carry a weapon, but his aura was as threatening as Dragon Ki
“You are persistent,” Dragon King Bast stated with a smile. His powerful sword was blocked by the claws of the fire dragon, preventing it from travelling any further.“Persistence is a good trait,” Elder Hanuman whose phantom rod had been blocked on the other side by the other clawed limb of the dragon, nodded his head in appreciation. Their words and demeanor caused Mane to frown in annoyance.“So this is how it feels to be looked down on,” Mane mumbled, not liking the sickening feeling that was building up in the back of his throat. He started to understand a bit of what others felt whenever he ignored their struggle. However, Mane was different from those lads. Mane could actually do something about his.“Arma impia,” the young Supreme chanted, causing armored scales that carried the power of a Spirit King to grow all over the fiery dragon and make it more tangible. Dragon King Bast and Elder Hanuman furrowed their brows seeing the change; but before they could do anything else Man
“What is that?” the citizens of the Citadel who had been evacuated looked towards the strong light that was slowly approaching them with a strange expression on their faces. That light carried a strong power that caused them to feel fear, and looking at it alone stung their eyes. It was akin to staring at the sun.“That power…is that the true power of the Citadel?” Razer who was standing in a defensive line that had been formed right in front of the normal citizens along with other guards, asked with a ghastly expression on his face. The power of that sword was akin to that of a god! It was so strong that he doubted that any of the elders of the Ancient race could handle it. This was at the same level of power as the Ancient Monarch! “Someone…please save us…save us Dragon Lord,” a few citizens feel to the knees and prayed fervently. Only if they knew that the one they were praying to was the very one who had caused this in the first place, they would have lost all hope. As it stood
In the blink of an eye Monkey God Hanuman appeared before Mane. Before Mane could register what was going on those purple eyes suddenly looked distant and a searing pain assaulted his abdomen. He had been sent flying without being able to do a thing!*Boom*“Mane!” Hildegarde screamed in shock as tried flying over to her Tested. However before those tiny wings of hers could beat her towards Mane, a powerful oppressive force constrained her and made it impossible for her to move. She had been found out!So far only a few people in this world had been able to discover her. All these people were strange existences of mysterious ability and without a doubt, none of these people needed to do much to deal with Mane. For one as brute as Elder Hanuman to see her meant that not only were his eyes much more extraordinary than she thought, he was also much stronger than anything mane could ever handle!“Little fairy,” Monkey God Hanuman stood before her with a careless expression on his face.
Within one of the numerous lower worlds under the jurisdiction of Asgard; in a world of the 1st Heaven that was not experiencing the chaos of war. This world was called Pathaan; and it was a world that had not seen blood spilled in the last century. In this peaceful world were several countries that had learned to live at peace with each other. One of these many countries was Mohsin Country. Mohsin Country was one of the three large empires in this planet. It was famous for many things, but the one thing Mohsin Country was most famous for was its weather. It was called the Empire of the Sun; for in its long history, neither snow nor thunderstorm had ever wrecked the land. This didn’t mean that this land never experienced rain. If it didn’t, growing crops would have been impossible with normal methods. It did rain in Mohsin Country; but it only rained at night. Sun by day; rain by night. That was what made this country special. It was currently day time in Mohsin Country. Travelers we
