Arrival: VI

“It seems what I did was needless,” Grandpa Winks chuckled as he looked into the sky.

He was stranded on a desolate planet. This was a place where the sun never set, nor did it rise. For it was forever in the bright red sky. It reeked of chaos and disorder, and the energy known as Chaos was strong here. Edict was almost non-existent, and whatever little this planet had left, Grandpa Winks was depending on to survive.

“Since he is here, that means that he completed his mission. There is no way the one prophesied to be the ruler of the myriad realms would fail.” Grandpa Winks stretched lazily as he spoke.

He was here all alone, so he was speaking to no one but himself. While this was strange, this was the only way to keep his sanity. After all, loneliness was devastatingly severe disease. If he didn’t do this, he would go mad.

“But why didn’t he come with the others?” Grandpa Winks’ eyes narrowed into slits as a cold gleam occupied his lively pupils.
