Darkness is a concept we are all familiar with. There was a time of day where the sun gave way and allowed the moon to claim some of its glory away. In that time, the shadows felt at home and dominated the earth, and light became a craved afterthought for those who had enjoyed its pleasured embrace earlier in the day. Darkness was natural, and wherever there was light, there would always be darkness. Such was the natural order of the day. Such was the way the good Lord had intended it when he set the heavens apart from the earth. However, where there was a natural order of things, there was also an unnatural order of things. Mane had spent his entire life on Zandor, but the planet that was once the home of the gods was commonplace in every way. It possessed night and day much like ever other functional planet of the universe. What Mane was looking at however, was not natural in the slightest.
