I headed back home with a cab and let myself in. The house was empty, which indicated Karen wasn't home yet. I decided to shower and relax a bit. I checked the fridge in the kitchen, and the staff had made a couple of sandwiches and salads for Karen and me before they left. I had asked them to leave so that Karen and I would have the house to ourselves and I could make love to her in other parts of the house without needing privacy from the staff. I went up to my room to shower.
