Karen spent the weekend with her parents as I promised. They were to return her in the evening. I couldn't wait to see her. My mother was yet to hear the news about Isabel, but we agreed to tell her when we got to the settlement. I had decided to move partially there with my mate. I knew I should propose to Karen, but I couldn't think of the right time to do so. A lot had been happening, and my pack had been withstanding a lot of attacks. Oscar The doctor had patched Karen up, and I took her back to our apartment. They ran some tests on her, and I promised to return for the results.I spent the whole night watching Karen sleep.
