The moment Kieran stormed into my room in the middle of the night, I knew something bad had happened. But this was the absolute last thing I had expected to hear.

Questions were running a mile a minute. Why was she even out that late at night? Why wasn't she home? Where was she?

It seemed like with each new question, I would think of several more. None of this was making sense. But I knew no one else had the answers. We would have to wait to find out for ourselves. My dad had immediately found a location from her phone, so within seconds, we had all piled into a car and tracked her phone.
