40. The File

"Follow me." He comments, stepping away from him. I raise a brow at his remark but refrain from pushing the issue. He leads me back to his office. I sit down on the chair in front of his desk as he reaches into the cabinet and pulls out a file. He hands it over to me tentatively. I can see the unease in his features as he reaches his hand out to pass the file to me.

"What's this."

"The full story." He comments, allowing me to grab the file.

I nod my head, not quite sure what all this is about but taking it nonetheless. I opened the folder and was surprised to see that the report seemed to be from multiple crime scenes.
