Chapter 61: Meet Jaydan

There was no magic chanting or colorful magic effects as I thought. The short guy named Qulin pulled out a hammer full of runes from his bag, and when he held the hammer with both hands, the runes lit up. Then I heard a few loud clangs. The wall was broken out into several large holes as if it was made of paper.

This process was repeated many times and the entire wall was smashed through, but strangely enough, the debris that was smashed down looked like burning shredded paper and disappeared directly into midair. The passersby around seemed to be completely unaware of this loud noise and were still doing their own thing.

I looked at Lars. He shrugged at me, probably meaning that this was really nothing strange. The only thing that made me curious was the hammer, which was obviously an old object. I wanted to ask about its origins, but then I thought that everyone had secrets, especially these mages.

I left the rest of the house layout to Lars. Professional things should be
