After more than two hours of practice, Lou started to become familiar with the process. Picking up goods, packing, collecting money, and giving change all in one fell swoop. His efficiency was just getting better and better as time went on.

My shop had also become rather lively for having such an eye-catching staff, and even people just passing by would stop to peer inside because of Lou's good looks.

But John never showed up, which worried me a little bit. Did he regret it? Did he feel that life on the streets was better than this lifestyle? Lou trusted him so much. I wouldn't have the heart to disappoint him if I had such a good friend.
