She, Suzanne, Justin and Andrew were walking to the bus that normally took them home.
'Yeah! I'm serious!' Suzanne squealed dreamily. 'Ryan said, "If I can do it....so can you." He's finally noticing me!' She gloated at Annabelle. 'While he hardly knows you exist!'
Annabelle frowned and looked away. 'He probably meant it sarcastically,' she muttered. This is why I ought to be on squad 10 and not Suzanne. She thought jealously.
Justin adjusted his bag strap. 'Sure. Whatever. So can you believe E-rank exam is just in four months' time?' he said, switching the topic away from Ryan.
Andrew rolled his eyes. 'Duh.'
Justin faced him, questioning.
'There's nothing awe-struck about that fact, Justin. It's the normal regular time it's held.' Andrew said, not lifting his eyes from his phone.
