Plaguing The Past

Lucian’s eyes shot open at my question before they dropped and sadness engulfed them. I placed my hand over his and he looked me straight in the eyes.

Anger started to fill them paired with jealousy. “NO” He growled and I knew his wolf had started to front. I was well aware that this had to feel like a stab right in his heart, but I also knew that I could explain it to him.

“Lucian. I’m not running away from you. I’m not leaving you. In fact, it’s the total opposite,” I said in the most honest and caring voice I could.

“Then why do you want to see him.”

His face turned to a totally disgusted face at the word “him” I giggled a little bit. I cupped his face and I just looked over his beautiful face.

Each little patch of skin that covered him was beautifully perfect. From his lips to his hazel eyes and even his furrowed brows that had seemed to be knitting the blanket of insecurity that would soon wrap itself around his beautiful brain.
