As Seraphina pulled away, she turned to look at him with a smirk. “You mean you and I should do the cooking?” Kieran asked her with a laugh, and she nodded her head enthusiastically.

“There are maids for it though…”

“Yeah, can’t you cook?” she asked, raising an eyebrow playfully.

Kieran laughed heartily, shaking his head. “You know I wish I could, but I suck at it. I can barely make a sandwich without burning it,” he admitted, a sheepish grin on his face.

Seraphina stood up, brushing off the grass from her clothes. “Well, that’s a shame,” she said with a teasing glint in her eyes. “But don't worry, I'll be with you to coach you through it. Let's get moving before I end up flat on my face,” she laughed, stretching out her hand to him.

Kieran took her hand and allowed her to help him up from the grass. “Hmmm… okay,” he replied, still chuckling. He fell into step beside her as they began to stroll back to the mansion.
