Chapter 79. A Step Closer

I could feel his skin tremble because of the pain yet his forcing command refused to surrender, he wanted me to continue treating his wound and cleaning everything up. I bit my lip not creating any noise while doing my job until I have finished. I gathered all the dirty cotton balls and the materials I used to return them to the bathroom cabinet. He lay still not moving an inch until I got up from his bed and slowly walked towards the door of his bath. I place everything in order inside the cabinet and throw the trash away before returning.

"Thank you, Chelsey."

Surprised, I almost took a step back while looking at him already sitting up on the bedside with his leg stretched out and his handsome face meeting my gaze. His deep eyes are almost glowing but he is not smiling even though I have a feeling that he is glad about what I did.

"You're welcome sir, good to know that it doesn't hurt that much after I did the cleaning."
