Chapter Sixty Two

She whispered

‘We’re on our way’

Caleb had been sitting in his makeshift office staring angrily out of the window, it was raining but that suited his mood he was always in a bad mood these days. Sighing he got up and opened the drinks cabinet pouring a large whisky,

‘That won’t help your mood’

Anthony observed coming into the office,

‘Why don’t you just admit it, Caleb?’

‘Admit what, do tell?’

Caleb replied sarcastically downing the whisky and pouring another then realising his mistake he poured a second glass and handed it to Anthony,

‘You still love her, and if you want to be honest you never stopped did you?’

Caleb slammed the glass down making Anthony jump,

‘What would be the point in that? It will make no difference if I lost her and hindsight will not bring her back.’

He poured another whisky

‘And getting smashed at lunchtime will?’

Anthony said drily,

‘Alright’

Caleb snarled angrily

‘I love her, I never stopped, I was stupid. I still love her with all my heart. There you go but
