Dai's POV

My brothers weren't pleased when I told them I didn't want anyone sniffing in my business, I don't want them to make me feel like I don't have control over my life. I was out of line even though they mean well but I need to figure everything out before my partner loses everything to Lia.

Like I had assured Lia and my partner about the contract which I had drafted in two days, it was a chilly night at around 8pm, my partner laid in bed while Lia sat in a chair beside his bed. I just want the contract signing to be done and over with.

I had finally come to terms with the fact that nothing could be done to safe my partner, after I spoke with his doctor and sent his results to a cancer specialist who is an acquaintance of my father. The specialist had thesame bad news as my partner's doctor.

He didn't have much time and instead of making things hard for him in his last days by going against the marriage contract and transfer of properties, I decided to go with it as my partner's

Dai's POVFinding an African/Mexican American woman in New York proved harder for my investigator than all the difficult tasks I've given him in the past. Finding a woman should be easy especially since she's registered in the system. Tracing her location through her phone is my last resort, it's wrong but I'm desperate. Just when I am about to begin tracing Lia's location, my phone rings "Hello??" a familiar voice speaks."Hello?" so I am skeptical about this caller even though their voice seem familiar "who's speaking?"
