Eunho was hesitant in telling her his requirements to become his student. He didn’t want to see her prove him wrong. He intentionally planned on making the request a difficult one to prevent her from pursuing her goals of becoming his student.
He listed out his requirements, “In order to become my student, I have certain requirements that need to be met. A good martial artist must have a great foundation for the basics. It’s important that any martial artist should have the strength and endurance to continue learning advanced techniques. It may sound like an easy task, but my requirements a bit different. If you’ve been trained by anyone else, it may just be a simple exercise. That is not the case for me.”
Yuna certainly knew that whatever his requirements, it wouldn’t be an
I've decided to update another chapter since I missed last week. Enjoy:)
Most of the guards in front, knew how she looked. She had to be extra careful not to cause a commotion. Yuna hid behind walls while observing the surroundings for any guards. She watched as some maids were chatting and laughing. While they were distracted, she quickly ran across to another building that was closer to the main gate. She peeked out from her hiding spot to see who was guarding the front. Unluckily for her, there were many guards today. After the kidnapping incident, the number of guards increased significantly. It was obvious that Eunho and her father were being extremely cautious of any intruders. This was going to be a lot more difficult than she thought. While she was staring at the guards in front, she overheard the maids. The head maid discovered the two gi
Namjoo was used to living as a male. Her father had always wanted male children to the point of being delusional. He refused to accept that his first child was a female. He forced her to dress up as a male since she was young. She was also an only child. Her mother had passed away giving birth to her. It was only natural for her father to hide her gender. She didn’t have any desire to live the rest of her life as female because she enjoyed the privileges of being male. She lived in a male driven society that looked down on females. She also excelled at martial arts which prevented her from revealing her gender. She wouldn’t mind living the rest of her life without getting married. She’d never expect that her secret would easily be revealed by a little boy. The boy looked suspicious. He had a cloak on that was too big for his size. The only reason why he would dress this way would be to hide himself. The only reason she coul
Eunho couldn’t stay focused on training his soldiers due to what happened with Yuna not too long ago. He needed to get his soldiers ready for what would happen in the future. His soldiers were growing extremely lax with their training after the war had ended. It was peaceful during this time, but he knew that this peace was only temporary. He knew that in the near future, there would be a long war against the country of Miyon. Eunho tried his best to concentrate on the task at hand, but he couldn’t stop thinking about Yuna. Every time he felt that he knew her a little bit, she would surprise him with new information about herself. He always believed Yuna to be the perfect noble lady that needed saving, but after their last encounter, he felt that he didn’t truly know what was going on in Yuna’s head. Sometimes he just wanted to pry ins
Namjoo was very cautious around people to avoid being caught as a female. She couldn’t let this kid get away scot free. She decided to stick around and find out more about the kid. Yuna had no clue on how to fix the situation. It seemed that she wasn’t going to easily get away from her. Yuna scratched her head nervously, “So, what do you plan on doing with me?” Namjoo replied ominously, “If I find that you revealed any of my secrets, I will come for you. Don’t think that I’ll let you go so easily.” Yuna cried in her heart. What did I get myself into, now? She begged, “I promise I won’t reveal anything, so could you let me go? I have to be somewhere.” Namjoo wasn’t planning on keeping her prisoner. She wasn’t into imprisoning little kids. It wouldn’t be too bad to keep a close eye on her. She seemed to be a weak kid. She could tell that the kid didn’t have a single bit of aura distinguishing her as a martial artist. Namjoo sighed, “I gues
Namjoo and Yuna successfully arrived at the marketplace. Namjoo directed Yuna to the Weapons & Armor shop that was located not too far from the Town Square. When she first walked into the shop, a musky scent masked the entire store. The walls were covered with high quality swords and other weapons. Yuna had no clue on what type of weapon would fit her best. She decided that it’d be better to wait on buying a weapon until she began her actual martial arts training. She’d have to just look for the right gear to workout in. Namjoo was used to purchasing from the weapon shop. She easily navigated through the store while looking for things she needed for herself. Yuna took her time looking around the shop. She didn’t need to buy weapons, so she kept walking through the v
He attempted to sell Namjoo a dysfunctional item, only to find that his life was gravely in danger. Namjoo almost killed him for trying to fool him once. What would happen if he found out that he was trying to fool his friend too? The shopkeeper broke out into a cold sweat. He smiled nervously at Namjoo, “I wasn’t trying to sell any dysfunctional items. I promise.” Namjoo pointed at the hemp shirt curiously, “Than what’s that over there? This looks like a dysfunctional item to me.” The shopkeeper hurriedly snatched the shirt away from Namjoo’s grasp and explained, “Did I mean this shirt? I must’ve pointed at the wrong shirt. I was just about to throw this garbage away. No one is willing to buy it.” He tossed the shirt be
To the Weapon Master’s dismay, Yuna wasn’t interested in the rest of the items. He brought out all sorts of products, but none interested the kid. He felt frustrated since he had to run back and forth to find these items in his storage. He tried everything, but the kid wouldn’t budge. He didn’t want to buy anything! WM Chong grumbled, “It’s obvious that nothing suits your taste. What can I do?” Yuna smiled, “I’m very disappointed in everything that you’ve brought to me. There isn’t anything here that I’m interested in. It seems that I need to go shop elsewhere.” WM Chong refused to let the kid go so easily. He wasted all his time trying to get him to buy something, only to be deemed as useless. He felt that all his years as the best blacksmith in the region to be a lie. He worked so hard to create masterpieces that were coveted throughout the globe. He didn’t expect to find a difficult customer. For some odd reason
Meanwhile, Eunho scoured the forest for Yuna. He could not find her anywhere. He kept wondering where she could have gone. She most likely wasn’t kidnapped from the way her clothes were left behind. She must’ve changed into a disguise and snuck out. The only place he could think of was the marketplace that wasn’t too far away. He gathered the soldiers to search the marketplace. He had no idea if Yuna was kidnapped or if she snuck out. He was extremely worried about her. He knew that there were bandits in the area that threatened the daily lives of innocent citizen. Some were unfortunate enough to lose their lives while dealing with these bandits. Every time he searched the marketplace for a trace of their whereabouts, they would go into hiding. He was not succes
