Her lips were dry and her eyes darkened as she sat before the vanity desk, glaring at the mirror reflecting her miserable state. Her hands shivered as she reminisced about the other night. It was blurry; she couldn’t have possibly done it. There’s no way.

How did Alys' scarf get into her hands? What could have come over her to become so ruthless? A child?

"Don’t hide behind the cloak of your righteousness. You killed her!" Her own voice spoke, betraying her will. She smacked the table and nipped her hand until it turned red.

"You killed that poor girl! After all, you are just as mad as your father! You want to escape the punishment of the king so desperately, you killed an innocent child who caught you escaping!" Her voice spoke eerily into her ears again as she blocked her ears with both hands.

"Please... stop! I am sorry, I didn’t mean to... please," Ava pleaded, her voice grating as tears blurred her vision. She buried her face in her lap as she panicked and hallucinate
