Chapter 409 Marcel In Trouble

When Lana arrived at Marcel's house, Nicholas was tied up in Marcel's garden, basking in the sun.

"Damn, Marcel, are you drying some bacon?"

Lana ignored the furious Nicholas, who was tied up in the tree.

"Lana, how can you still crack jokes? Hurry up and let me down!"

Lana, however, didn't even glance at him. She kept searching for Marcel inside the house.

"Marcel, where are you?"

Then, Lana heard Marcel's voice. "Why did you come?"

Marcel was still nowhere to be seen. "Marcel, where are you?"

"The matters here are none of your concern. You should leave. Without my word, you are not allowed to step in here again."

Marcel's tone was unusually serious, and Lana had never heard him speak to her so seriously. Marcel seemed strange today.

"Marcel, I'll leave, but can I take that piece of bacon from your yard with me?"

Marcel replied firmly, "No!"

Since Marcel didn't allow Lana to save Nicholas, Lana concluded that Nicholas must have done something to anger Marcel. She didn't wa
